In order to cope with the problems of economic transformation and privatization on one hand, and with the need to attract foreign investors on the other, the Government of Montenegro has formed a specialized agency (under its control) to deal with these issues. The Agency activities related to foreign investment, principally concern legal and financial consultation and promotion. Since it was founded, all initiatives, contacts and foreign investment business operations in Montenegro, have been handled by the agency. 

The Agency personnel, headed by Prof. Dr Milutin Lalic, is highly qualified; they speak foreign languages and are prepared to offer expert advice and cooperation in all aspects of investment and business transactions with foreign partners.  

The agency has also planned the realization of a business BBS Bulletin Board System within its own information system. BBS Montenegro is available to all potential partners, which can receive necessary information on Montenegrin companies (2500) easily and in one place. It also enables us to receive information on important business conditions in the Republic. The development of several BBS data-bases is mostly oriented towards foreign partners. However, its contents is also interesting for local businessmen.
